TASER International Lands Stun Gun, Video Deals

TASER International Inc has recently announced the sale of three online storage components and digital video systems.

The Axon system is a video camera that is wearable which allows officers to work it with the TASER Internationals self defense devices. All data is essentially stored from the recorders.

This is an important piece of equipment for police as it provides police the chance to record what they see and to provide a record for the public to view.

TASER International has also announced that it recently sold over 25,000 of its cartridges for its X26 stun gun; however, the name of the buyer was not released. What is clear though is how effective these self defense devices are and how much people are relying on them in this day and age.

Contrary to popular belief these tools deliver the safer alternative to traditional firearms which were the weapons police departments employed for many years before the introduction of stun guns.

Nowadays, it’s not uncommon to see countless police departments employing self defense tools as their main source of protection when it comes to apprehending a suspect. After all, these tools are non-lethal and provide the ideal tool choice when it comes to bringing someone into police custody without having to resort to brute force.

Police are no longer required to put the effort into subduing an individual when they have the assistance from a stun gun. Instead they can focus their time on taking the individual in question away instead of exerting their effort in taking someone down.

Not only that, but this method provides a safe one for police and the suspect involved. Less harm to police means more time on the streets tackling crime. If police have to take time off work in order to recover from an incident that involved them apprehending a suspect which saw both parties receiving injuries then police resources will become strained as officers complete overtime to cover the hours of those officers off of work.
