Police Apprehend 400-Pound Woman Caught Shoplifting
When a 400-pound woman who is alleged to have employed a motorized cart in a bid to get away with $600 worth of stolen goods, ultimately found herself stuck at the door. According to police she then pushed and punched a security officer and while resisting arrest was subdued by a police TASER device.
As a result of her actions she was arrested and charged.
It’s not every day that officers are faced with situations such as this, but regardless of the situation it still required police action in order to stop a woman from stealing $600 worth of items.
Because of this they deemed it necessary to apprehend her by employing the self defense device which quickly put a stop to her protests.
Brute force wasn’t required in this instance as police were able to rely on a device that would effectively do the work for them without putting anyone in harm’s way which is essentially why these tools were designed in the first place.
