Officers Arrest Suspect Involved in Home Burglaries in West Palm Beach
The 31-year-old man who was arrested is alleged to have targeted homes not far from where he lived in an apartment complex off Haverhill Road.
According to Palm Beach County Jail records, the man is being charged with dealing in stolen items, numerous counts of burglary and petite and grand theft larceny.
Police were able to connect the suspect to the crime by taking his fingerprints off the stolen items that had turned up in pawn shops. Once the man was confronted by officers he then admitted to several others home burglaries.
In most cases he was able to obtain access to the homes targeted by simply opening doors that had been unlocked while other times showed that he had climbed through windows. According to police some of the victims were also at home during the time the 31-year-old broke into their homes.
The suspect has admitted to stealing an Xbox, PlayStation and Wii gaming systems, large screen TVs, laptops, money, an electric guitar and jewelry. Even though he pawned most of the items to local pawn shops he also sold other items on the street.
Safe to employ and extremely effective, it will deliver the results required if an individual should find themselves confronted by an unwanted intruder. A person’s home is considered their safety net; it shouldn’t a place that they feel threatened. With the assistance from a stun gun though they can remain confident in themselves that they have a device on hand to rely on when required.
