Police Employ Stun Gun on Fan at Pirates Game
According to police, the 41-year-old male from Friendship was being escorted away from his seat during the game against Colorado after he had threatened another male fan.
A police detective then told the suspect that he was under arrest, at which point he refused to put his hands behind his back. Another officer then employed his self defense device on the man in order to get him to comply with police orders.
Although this incident was not the same as the one that saw a fan running on to the field during a baseball game, it did still have serious implications. After all, one fan is alleged to have threatened another even if the reason involved is not known.
When it comes to live games it is important that police have on hand the necessary tools at their disposal to ensure that every one remains safe. However, if there is someone who goes against this they can rest assured that they have the personal equipment at hand to effectively bring that individual under control by removing them from the scene.
