Residents in Bradley County Address Crime at Community Forum

As Bradley County continues to grow it’s also trying to stay ahead of problems when it comes to the city’s growth, such as crime.

During a community forum, numerous crime fighters talked about various issues ranging from a rise in prescription drug users and meth labs to gangs in Cleveland.

While juvenile court reports have indicated that kid criminals are not being seen in Bradley County courts, that could soon change because of the fact that more runaways and unruly children are appearing at court.

The Bradley Initiative for Church and Community put the meeting together after 21 percent of people asked recorded crime, drugs, family and youth and gangs as community concerns.

After these facts came to light the BICC gave the opportunity for residents to discuss the issues at hand. Community members were also encouraged to play their part when it came to preventing these concerns from becoming a reality.

One way in which residents can ensure their safety and to prevent them from becoming targets of an attack is to purchase a stun gun. This is one self defense tool that many people are turning their attention in order to increase their safety.

The simple reason being is because not only are they non-lethal, but they are also extremely effective when employed on a target. Many of them are also small enough to fit into a purse or pocket delivering maximum protection wherever a person is.

In order for Bradley County to stay ahead of potential crime levels residents should take steps to ensure their safety at all times. Even though they will be doing what they can to stamp out crime levels in the area, there will be times when someone becomes a target.

But, by making sure that an individual is always protected will mean that they are one step ahead at all times. Furthermore, their confidence levels will increase in themselves. If a person portrays that they are confident in knowing how to defend themselves they are unlikely to be targeted as a result.

Taking the necessary safety steps to begin with will only help to benefit a person in the long run.
