Police Apprehend Man with a Stun Gun at Royal Wedding Street Party
Officers were initially called to the scene after they received complaints from residents that saw a street party that was attended by around 500 people. The event itself had been posted on the internet which saw numerous people from outside the area attending the celebrations.
By employing social networking sites, what may have started as a normal street party with a family environment soon became a much bigger event. As a result, there was plenty of noise, high spirits and drinking by many of those who attended.
While there were some residents who didn’t want the street party to go ahead, it was thought that the event itself didn’t get out of hand.
After the 19-year-old had been confronted by police he was then arrested for being drunk and disorderly. Because of his actions a police stun gun was then employed on the young man in order for police to subdue him in a timely manner, thus maintaining the enjoyment of the event for others present.
Even though residents had been told that they could not actually have the street party they nonetheless went ahead with it anyway. However, 99.9% of those who attended were there only to have fun and take part in what will be a historical moment for the British monarchy in years to come.
Despite this one incident though many thought the whole event was filled with warmth and enjoyment.
However, when officers arrived and with a quick assessment of what was going on they were able to gain control in a timely manner.
