Teachers Give Lessons in Night Safety

Two trainee teachers have provided a class in a Widnes club highlighting partying risks in bars.

The two women took over the Beat Bar in order to hold an interactive, but educational class for teenagers which highlighted the risks involved of sexual assaults, aggressive drunks, spiked drinks and binge drinking.

The main purpose of the event was to encourage young people to be more aware of what is going on around them while out at night and for them to avoid anti-social behavior.

Additional material employed at the event also featured a number of posters which depicted actors in scenes involving late night mayhem from aggressive stand-offs between drunk punters to date rapists spiking drinks.

For those who are concerned about their safety when they are out at night now have a range of self defense devices at hand that they can employ in order to maximize their protection. One such tool that many people are turning their attention towards is pepper spray.
