Police TASER Device Employed on Unruly Man
A man in Fayette County was apprehended by a police TASER device after officers’ found him unconscious outside a building.
When officers’ arrived to the scene they found the 24-year-old man on the ground where he had passed out in his own vomit. Concerned for the man’s safety police called paramedics to check the man out.
However, when paramedics were called to the scene the man took off. Attempting to arrest the man in order to prevent him from harming himself or others, the 24-year-old tried to run away. While police were trying to get the man under control he tried to disarm one of the officers with a TASER device.
Fortunately, the man in question wasn’t able to get the stunning tool away from the officer; however, it wasn’t long before police employed the self defense device on the 24-year-old where he was then taken away into police custody.
Luckily for the police involved there was no harm done to either themselves or the man whom they were concerned about during the event. With the assistance from the TASER device police were able to get the situation under control in a short space of time, which prevented any harm to those involved.
These days it’s not uncommon to find police provided with a range of personal protective weapons that give them a wider choice for their safety and those of others while they are on duty.
Without the help from such tools police would still be employing brute force in order to apprehend a suspect, which in most cases is not necessary. Now, though, with TASER tools on hand it quickly eliminates the risk of harm involved that may be present with other tools that police have on hand, such as firearms.
Greater protection is at hand with self defense devices that have been created to defend a person when they require it the most. Nowadays, police departments are realizing the benefits of owning such self defense tools for added police protection which is seeing more police spending extra time tackling crime instead of taking time off to recover from injuries they may have sustained while on duty.
