Newcastle City Improves Safety with Lights

The Newcastle City Centre Committee has said that by holding lighting exhibitions in the CBD it will promote an attractive and safer environment for night time visitors to enjoy when they visit the city center.

The displays will include that of the front window of the well known Victoria Theatre which will illuminate images of the city from the 1930s.

The lighting display is aimed at attracting more people to the city so that they can enjoy a piece of art at night in a setting that is safe for all.
