Officer Employs TASER Device on Man who Throws PlayStation
The officer approached the man as he was walking down the road in the early evening hours. As the officer began to talk to the man she said that the man lifted his shirt as if to take a weapon out of his waistband.
Instead of being confronted by a weapon though, the officer realized that it was a game console which was subsequently thrown at the officer before the man took off. During the course of his attempt to escape from police the 36-year-old man also threw a planter that was filled with dirt at the officer, along with two metal chairs.
As the man was picking up the third chair in a bid to throw it at the officer, the police TASER device was then employed to prevent any further harm coming to the officer involved.
It’s not everyday that an officer sees a video game console being thrown at her while trying to apprehend a man. However, in case such a situation does happen which sees an officer’s safety in question, knowing that they have the necessary tools to protect them is vital.
These days, it’s not uncommon for police to have a range of personal protective devices on hand that are designed to give them and members of the public maximum protection when called upon.
In recent years one of those devices that is being called upon is the TASER device. Easy and non-lethal, this stunning device has become a popular tool for people to turn their attention to as they look for ways in which they can increase their safety without harming anyone involved.

Instead, the device gives time for the person utilizing the device to make their escape while the individual targeted is momentarily subdued on the floor.
