Police Employ Stun Gun on Man Who Refuses to Leave School

Hillsborough police in Tampa, Florida found themselves called to Westchase Elementary School where they had to employ a stun gun on a 45-year-old who refused to leave the grounds.

The man who turned up at the school, where his wife works, caused a disturbance which saw school officials calling police to remove the man from the premises.

According to police, the 45-year-old was upset and when asked to leave at the principal’s request, he refused. In an arrest report, the man in question told deputies that they would either have to let him walk alone across the street or they would have to shoot him.

In order to maintain the students protection during the ordeal they were unable to leave.

The report went on to explain that when a school security officer attempted to arrest the man he resisted. During the incident he then tried to reach for the officer’s gun. As a result, deputies then shocked the man with a stun gun.
