Police Employ TASER Device on Three People During Traffic Stop
According to police, officers attempted to stop the vehicle as it was driving at high speeds through a residential area.
When the vehicle stopped behind an apartment building the occupants inside the car jumped out; however, when police told them to get back into the car, one male occupant decided to make his escape by fleeing from police.
The remaining occupants of the vehicle refused to comply with police orders. After backup police had arrived on the scene, police then tried to take the three remaining individuals into custody, but are alleged to have resisted.
As a result of this, police then stunned them with their self defense TASER weapon in a bid to get the situation under control.
In this day and age, police no longer have to employ brute force in order to get suspects into police custody. Since the introduction of self defense devices, which many police departments are providing to its officers, there has been a drastic decline in the amount of injuries that may otherwise be seen if a lethal device was used instead.
The benefits of owning a personal protective device far outweigh those of not owning one for a person’s safety. After all, it’s much better to have a device on hand that will do the job of stopping someone from harming you, but at the same time still not harming the person you are targeting either.
When TASER devices were created they were designed with safety in mind. This is why they make the ideal self defense devices to own and why so many police departments and members of the public are turning their attention to them in times of need.
Without them people would still be relying on lethal weapons for their safety or they may not have anything to rely on, which puts them just as much at risk of harm. That is not the case with non-lethal tools. Now anyone who is searching for an effective way at protecting themselves can do so with the knowledge that they won’t be harming anyone in the process of defending themselves.
