State police in Killingworth are investigating a number of daytime home burglaries.

One victim of the burglars reported that a thief, or thieves, had broken into her home and stole her daughter’s piggy banks, a laptop, two televisions and jewelry.

As a result of these burglaries, police are urging residents to remain vigilant when it comes to what is going on around their communities and to report anything suspicious they might see.
