Police Employ TASER Gun On Bealls Shoplifting Suspect

Two female suspects have been charged with shoplifting at a Bealls Outlet. As a result of their actions, one of the females was apprehended by a TASER gun after Manatee County deputies were called to the scene.

According to a report, one of the suspects was attempting to elude a deputy. In order to prevent her from escaping, the self defense device was employed, which struck her in the upper back. Once apprehended police were able to handcuff her.

Even though the second suspect was able to make her escape from the store, she was later pulled over by a deputy. After being identified by an employee it wasn’t long before she joined her friend in police custody.

After checking the car, deputies discovered over $450 worth of clothing in the back seat. They were both charged with retail theft.

Nowadays, it’s no longer possible to escape the law now that they have the assistance from a TASER gun. Before, police may have employed brute force in order to bring a suspect into police custody. However, since the introduction of stunning devices, police departments are beginning to see the advantages that they present.

Individuals that are concerned for their safety are turning their attention to the devices for added security. Not only that, but they don’t have to worry about the possibility of harming a person they are trying to guard themselves against.

When it comes to apprehending shoplifters, it makes the job a lot easier for police when they know that they have a device on hand that will effectively bring a person into police custody without using a lethal form of defense.

These days, devices such as stunning tools are being more readily relied upon during their line of duty. Police departments are seeing the benefits of providing their officers with them because they eliminate the risk of harm to those involved.

Not only that, but with more police departments turning their attention to them, it means that more police officers will be on the streets tackling crime instead of taking time off to recover from injuries they may have sustained while on duty.
