Police Employ TASER on Man Who Punched Officer
Around 4 a.m. police tried to arrest two men after they pulled a car over in Fortitude Valley. The reason the police pulled the men over was because the men in the car had initially been hurling threats and abuse at them.
As police made attempts to arrest a 37-year-old man from Kangaroo Point, he punched one of the male officers in the face before then threatening the second officer.
In order to prevent him from harming any more people involved in the situation a police TASER device was employed to apprehend him. He was then arrested and charged with series assault on an officer. The second 37-year-old was charged with obstructing police.
Nowadays, it’s important for police to have an array of self defense devices on hand, so that they have the necessary protection to defend themselves. It’s no longer a case of simply employing brute force in a situation. After all, all situations don’t require brute force in order to gain control over a situation. Nor do all situations require lethal force in the shape of firearms.

Since the introduction of self defense tools more people have begun to turn their attention to them as a means of boosting their protection.
