Second Man Involved in New Canaan Home Burglaries Charged
The 44-year-old man was arrested last week after a warrant was served. He was charged in connection with New Canaan home burglaries with three counts of second-degree burglary, one count of second-degree larceny, four counts of first-degree larceny, one count of third-degree larceny and four counts of third-degree burglary.
The charges made against the suspect were connected to burglaries that took place last year. During the investigation, police were able to recover stolen items from the homes that were located in a storage facility.
Homeowners that are concerned about their property and the possibility of thieves breaking in should think about ways in which they can increase their safety. One way of doing this is with the assistance from professional stun guns.
Nowadays, it’s not uncommon to come across households that have a form of self defense inside, which will protect them should they be confronted by unwanted intruders.
No one wants their home to be the target of thieves, but unfortunately we live in a society where crime rates are high. As a result of this, it is necessary for homeowners to put safety measures in place to stop their home becoming the target of thieves.
While a good security alarm system is ideal for the outside of a home, it is also wise to consider safety measures that can be employed inside too.
Even though you may not have to call upon its assistance, simply knowing it’s there will better your chances when it comes to defending yourself compared to not having anything on hand at all.
In this day and age, it’s no longer a case for homeowners to simply leave their windows and doors open without fearing that someone will walk in and steal from you. Those days are clearly gone.
Thankfully, there are ways in which we can better protect ourselves from the hands of thieves, and in a way that is non-lethal to all those involved.
