Singer Morrissey Injures Finger during Dog Attack
The former frontman of the well-known band, The Smiths, suffered injuries to his arm and hand after being attacked by a dog during a recent trip in England.
He was later taken to hospital where X-rays showed that he had fractured the tip of his index finger. However, for concerned fans, the injury will not affect any gigs that he currently has scheduled on his European tour.
For those who are worried about dog attacks and how they can increase their safety, they may be wondering is it safe to tase dogs and what the implications of doing so will involve.
When it comes to a person’s safety, it is important that they have a form of defense on hand that they can rely on should they need it. Since the introduction of self defense devices there has been a significant rise in purchases as they realize the benefits of owning such tools are the perfect way of defending themselves.
Unlike lethal firearms, which pose the risk of incurring fatalities to those involved, a TASER device does not. Even though the impact will be just as powerful at stopping a person or dog from attacking you, the results will only be temporary.
As the animal lies subdued on the ground it gives the person defending themselves enough time to call for assistance from animal wardens and police. No one should have to worry about being attacked by a dog, but simply knowing that they won’t be harming a dog in the process will mean that they are more than likely to utilize a self defense device that has been designed to protect those involved.
Everyone is, essentially, a winner when it comes to TASER devices and that’s something that wouldn’t be the case if brute force was employed instead.
