Clerk Punches Thief and Sprays Him with Pepper Spray

Police in Portland, Oregon are on the lookout for a man who is reported to have walked into a local store where he implied that he had a gun inside his jacket. While his intentions may have been to rob the store, he found himself coming up against a store clerk that had other ideas and wasn’t about to back down to such a threat.

The crime took place in the early hours of the morning, which saw the store clerk punching the suspect in the face. As the man ran off, the store clerk then grabbed some pepper spray and sprayed him as he made a dash to his vehicle. The man managed to make his escape by fleeing from the scene in a white 1990s Ford Explorer.

Even though such a tool is small, it can still pack a powerful punch when required. After all, the assistance from the self defense spray canister had the ability to prevent a would-be thief from carrying out his intentions of stealing from the store.

Along with the store clerk’s no nonsense attitude and the pepper spray on hand, they presented a strong team in preventing any items from being stolen.
