Man Who Robs 17-Year-Old is Apprehended by Police Stun Gun

A 21-year-old man from Philadelphia has been arrested after it was alleged that he robbed a 17-year-old boy in a bathroom.

According to police, the suspect went into the bathroom at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center where he told his victim that he had a gun on him.

The 17-year-old was able to provide an apt description of the 21-year-old, which assisted police in spotting the man as he left the building. When police confronted him, he refused to stop and as a result he was apprehended by a police stun gun.

By confronting the suspect police were able to apprehend him before the situation escalated that could have harmed the lives of those involved. Even if the suspect didn’t have a gun on him the prospect of such a threat was too great to ignore.
