Police Employ TASER and Arrest Two Men

Police in Green Bay were called to a domestic disturbance on Green Bay’s West side, which saw them employing a TASER device and arresting two men.

At around 7 p.m., Oneida Tribal Police and the Green Bay Police Department arrived at a home. According to officials, a man was wanted for domestic disturbance. However, when police ordered the man to vacate the home, he refused.

One man, who was inside, did permit officers to enter. Once inside they employed the self defense device on the man who initially refused to cooperate with police. Both men were arrested.

After police had the two men apprehended police searched the home and left with what appeared to be marijuana plants.

Nowadays, it’s not uncommon for police to have an array of self defense tools on hand. Unlike traditional firearms, a TASER device doesn’t come with the risk of harm when targeted on an individual.

When the tools were first created, they were designed with maximum safety in mind. Because of this they have become the perfect self defense device for people to own when it comes to increasing their safety in a non-lethal manner.

By utilizing a TASER device on a suspect police will also be be more capable of effectively carrying out their jobs as they focus more of their time on apprehending a suspect instead of worrying about the repercussions they might face if another device was used. The police are there to protect the lives of the public, so it is important that they are confident when it comes to the tools they use to assist them in any situation.
