Police Arrest Two Burglars Who Targeted Home As Homeowner Slept

According to Baltimore County police, two people have been arrested in connection with a burglary at an Overlea home that took place when the homeowner was asleep.

Police have arrested a 20-year-old male who was charged with first degree-burglary, as well as a juvenile who acted as a lookout.

A witness alerted police after she heard knocking on a neighbor’s door in addition to reporting that she saw flashlights on the first floor. The police reported that the witness thought it was odd as she didn’t believe anyone was at home during the time.

When police arrived, the witness was able to tell them that she saw three males walk from the porch of the same house. Officers were able to enter the house where they spoke to the homeowner. While there, they discovered that an iPod cable and iPod and a house key were stolen.

After assistance from the K9 unit, police were able to locate the juvenile and the 20-year-old walking along the road.
