Dog Attack on Infant Goes Unnoticed
A man that has not been identified explained to the emergency dispatcher that the girl was lying face down on the kitchen floor where she was having trouble breathing.
However, an earlier 911 recording revealed that three of the family’s dog had attacked the newborn, who later died from her injuries. As a result of the dog’s actions, police seized the five dogs from the home.
At the time of the incident the baby girl’s mother and grandfather were at home. The incident is still being investigated.
