Police Employ TASER on Suspect

Kentucky State Police employed a police TASER gun on a man when he jumped at them after being told to get on the floor.

The police initially arrived at a home on Stone Avenue in Georgetown in order to serve a search warrant. According to troopers at the scene the man jumped at them. As a result, the self defense device was employed on him.

Police arrested another person in the house at the time, who had warrants for his arrest in Virginia and Mississippi.

With the help from the self defense stunning tool police were able to effectively put a stop to the man’s actions. Not knowing what the suspect was intending to do when he jumped up at them, they decided to take the best course of action that would result in effective results with no harm coming to the man targeted.
