Police Use TASER on Naked Man

A man alleged to have been naked and running up a street in Kelso was apprehended by a police TASER gun on Wednesday before being transferred to hospital for a mental health analysis.

According to police they found the 23-year-old man naked in a stairwell of an apartment building. When police delivered instructions for the man to comply with he refused. Instead he shouted at them to shoot him. When he tried to enter an apartment the police employed the self defense device on him.

Strapping him to a back board, the man was talking to ‘Jesus Christ’ while calling the officers ‘Lucifer’ as he was transported to St. John Medical Center for an evaluation as to his mental health.

Nowadays, it’s important for police to have access to a wide range of self defense devices that they can employ when the situation calls for it. After all, they don’t know what they will face when they arrive at a scene that calls for their attention.
