Home Burglaries Hit Tempe Communities

Police are urging residents to remain alert after a number of home burglaries have been reported in a Tempe neighborhood.Tempe police have said that 14 homes in the neighborhood of Mitchell Park have been targeted by burglars since June. The incidents were reported to have taken place between the hours of 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. According to police they seem to be the result of one person.

So far, nobody has been hurt, but the criminal in question has so far managed to steal money and cell phones. As a result of the crimes, residents are keeping their eyes open for any suspicious behavior.

In order to tackle any further crimes, residents are taking the time to walk around the neighborhood several times a day so that they can talk to their neighbors. Any concerns expressed are then passed on to police.
