Police Make Arrest in Relation to Home Burglaries

Police in Cumberland County have arrested a 28-year-old man who they believe is connected to at least eight home burglaries that are reported to have taken place between July 2010 and April 2011.

According to West Shore Regional police, the man in question, of Mount Greta, admitted his involvement in the crimes, which took place in Wormleysburg borough and the townships of Lower Allen, Silver Spring, Hampden, and Monroe.

Police say that he stole guns, cash, and jewelry from homes amounting to around $40,000.
