Homeowner Protects Family Dog from Dog Attack with TASER

A Gladstone man has explained that he employed a TASER on a Pit Bull in order to defend the family Schnauzer from an attack.As a result of the incident the homeowner is worried that his neighborhood is no longer safe. He went on to explain that the attack was the most violent thing he has seen and said that if he didn’t employ the self defense device on the dog he believed it would target him next.

The dog owner said that he was carrying the stunning tool as a precaution. The attack took place on Monday when he was walking his dog Kirby with his wife. During their walk they were confronted by two large dogs he had never seen before who came crashing through his neighbor’s fence.

When one of the dogs began to throttle his dog that was when the scared dog owner employed his TASER device, which subsequently saw them run off. The owners then rushed their dog to the vet where he was bleeding profusely. However, after going through surgery he is expected to be okay.

The owner of the Pit Bull’s is not sure why his dogs broke through the fence to attack his neighbors dog. When asked what measures he had taken to make sure the dogs didn’t get out again, he explained that he locked them in the garage.

Thankfully with the assistance from the TASER device this dog owner was able to prevent any harm coming to him and his wife and to also stop the dog from attacking his own dog. These days with dog attacks on the rise it is important for homeowners to have the necessary safety measures in place that will ensure the safety of all those concerned.

No one wants to be attacked by a dog, but unfortunately it is becoming a common factor in our society. In order to avoid this and to always be one step ahead the ownership of a self defense device is required.
