Police TASER Gun Apprehends Man with Toxic Substance

Missoula police employed a police TASER gun on a 20-year-old male in front of the Super Wal-Mart Friday night.Around 11.30 p.m., police received a call which reported a man huffing a can of dust-off or paint in the parking lot, yelling and throwing cans at people and chasing cars.

According to police, when they arrived at the scene the man ran off. As a result, they employed the self defense device in order to stop him. However, while the shot missed its intended target, they were able to subdue the suspect without utilizing the device again.

Once in police custody the suspect was charged with several counts of disorderly conduct, possession of a toxic substance and obstruction of a police officer.

Even though the device in this instance actually missed the target in question that’s not to say it is not a valued tool for many police departments and members of the public when it becomes a question of self defense.

Simply put a TASER gun has become a popular protective weapon for many people around the world who are concerned for their safety. Nowadays, it’s not uncommon to hear reports of people being mugged or attacked in areas they once considered safe.

As a result of this, people are turning their attention to the benefits that self defense tools can provide to those who require them.
