Police Employ TASER on Escapee

Fraser police in Michigan have explained that they employed a TASER gun on a man after he attempted to flee police after he was caught robbing a Walgreens.

According to police, they spotted a stolen car at the Walgreens and were in the process of investigating it, when a 49-year-old man ran out of the shop with beauty supplies he had stolen from inside. The man then raced back to his car and tried to make a quick getaway, before finding himself pinned by police.

The police were able to successfully apprehend the suspect with the use of the police self defense device where he was then taken away into police custody.The suspect, who is a wanted parole absconder, was charged with obstructing and resisting an officer and possession of cocaine.
