Home Burglary Arrests Made

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office has reported that it has made the arrest of one man connected with a series of home burglaries that took place in the North Stafford area. Another man has also been charged in connection with one of the break-ins.

The 19-year-old male, of no fixed address, was charged with four counts of breaking and entering, four counts of larceny with intent to sell stolen goods, four counts of grand larceny and three counts of obtaining money by false pretenses.

The second individual, a 22-year-old male, was charged with breaking and entering, obtaining money by false pretenses, grand larceny and conspiracy with the intent to sell stolen goods.

In this day and age it is important for homeowners to think about the safety measures they can put into place that will not only keep them safe, but will prevent criminals from gaining entry to their homes.

A person’s home should be somewhere where they can escape to after a day’s hard work to relax and unwind in comfort; it shouldn’t be somewhere where you feel threatened.
