Natick Police Urge Residents Safety Over Home Burglaries
According to the advisory issued by the police department, eight homes were broken into over the past two weeks. Even though two sets of suspects have been arrested in Natick and Framingham, the burglaries have not stopped.
The majority of the break-ins are taking place during the day where thieves are gaining entry through forceful entry of a window or door or even through an unlocked window or door. Items stolen have included flat screen televisions, jewelry and laptops.
Compared to 2010, the number of burglaries reported in Natick have been down; however, over the last couple of weeks there has been a rise in the number of home break-ins with nine burglaries reported in October and three in November, so far.
As a result of these incidents, police are urging residents to remain on the lookout for any individuals they believe are acting suspicious and to call police if they think something is not right.
In this day and age, with home burglaries affecting different areas in varying degrees it is important for residents to think about how they can better protect themselves. One way of doing this is by purchasing a stun baton.
This form of defense is non-lethal and easy to use which is why it has become the ideal self defense device for homeowners to have if they are concerned for their safety inside their home. What also makes it a popular weapon to have is the simple fact that should a thief grab this away from you, they won’t be able to then use it against you.
With every self defense device there is a disable pin attached which has been added for greater protection for the user. Should a thief take your stun baton away they will also remove the disable pin rendering the device inoperable.
When it comes to a person’s safety there is no other device that can achieve the same results as a stunning baton can. Homeowners can now have the peace of mind they require to know that a device has been designed with providing them with maximum safety should they require it at a moment’s notice.
