Police Stun Gun is Employed to Apprehend Vandal in Brisbane
According to police the man employed the garden stake and golf club to hit trees and street signs before moving on to damage a wooden fence, crack a coffee-shop window and smash the passenger side window of a parked car.
Police responded to numerous calls where they were able to locate a man who was acting in a threatening and aggressive behavior to officers.
A police stun gun was then employed on the 25-year-old man in order to restrain him long enough to take him into police custody.
In this situation the use of a stun baton is perfect at achieving the results necessary when faced with an individual who is armed with dangerous weapons.
The use of the tool means that officers or members of the public don’t have to get close to the one doing the harm, which increases their safety. It also means that they are likely to escape from the situation without any harm occurring to them.
In this day and age it is important for members of the public and police departments to realize the benefits that such tools provide on a daily basis. These units have been designed with safety in mind, which means that not only are they protecting the person using the tool for their defense, but they are also protecting the person targeted.
Compared to a traditional firearm or another weapon of brute force, these run the risk of inflicting harm to the person targeted, which could mean fatal harm as well. However, with the employment of a stun baton that harm is eliminated as both parties self-interests are maintained.
So whether you are the person in possession of a stun baton for your safety or you are the person the device is being aimed at, you can rest assured that no harm will come to either of you.
This is why the device has become a popular one for homeowners and police departments to use, simply because there is no need to worry about the repercussions that other tools are known to inflict.
