Police Employ TASER on Man Who Threatened Friend

According to police, a man who was threatening his friend with a steak knife was apprehended by a TASER device after failing to comply with police orders.

The man in question had recently left Friends Hospital when he began talking to his friend telling him that he didn’t make enough money. Soon afterward he then began to threaten his friend with the knife telling him that he was going to kill him.

When police arrived on scene they told them man to comply with their orders, but he refused to do so. As a result, they then utilized their self defense device as a way of apprehending him without further harm.

He was then taken away into police custody.

In this day and age it is important for police to be able to reply upon a device that they know will produce the effective results that they want. In order to achieve this they need to have a variety of devices on hand that are designed with safety in mind.

These days, it’s not uncommon to find police with various self defense tools, one of which is a TASER gun. Since the introduction of this tool, there have been many police departments turning their attention to them because of the results they produce in a timely manner.

Not only that, but because these devices are safe to use they won’t harm the person targeted. Before police are permitted to use these devices while on duty they are first required to undertake the necessary training which allows them to understand how to use the device. Furthermore, they are then expected to experience what it is like to have such a device used on them.

This way they can appreciate what the person targeted will go through.

Knowing that police have access to these devices means that they are able to bring control to a situation before it escalates out of control. When it comes to the use of a knife it is important that police assess the situation where they will be able to achieve the necessary results required for all concerned.

Finding yourself up against a knife is not something anyone wants to confront, but simply knowing that there are self defense tools available to bring about the positive results means that the safety of those concerned is maintained.
