Power Outages Prompt Home Burglaries

The Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station is increasing patrols in response to the increase in home burglaries which included around four homes that were targeted during power outages.

Police are working overtime while volunteers on patrol are putting in extra hours to keep an eye on neighborhoods around the clock.

These days, there seems to be an increase in the amount of home burglaries, which could be blamed on the weak economy. As a result of this, homeowners should make sure that extra measures are put into place that will ensure their safety when they need it the most.
