Homeless Man Apprehended with Stun Gun After Demanding Money

Police in Jensen Beach subdued a homeless man after he demanded money from a Wells Fargo Bank manager Thursday.

The 49-year-old man in question became unruly with staff at the bank just after noon. According to the bank manager the man had been in and out of the bank several times on Wednesday without conducting any business. He then returned on Thursday where he was violent and demanded money.

According to a report, the man demanded all the money telling staff that he wasn’t leaving until he had what he needed. The man is also alleged to have thrown a set of dog tags at the manager during the incident.

Police arrived on the scene within three minutes of the alert and found the suspect sitting inside the manager’s office. He is reported to have struggled briefly with a detective before police were able to employ the self defense device on him where he was then taken away into police custody.
