Millionaire Music Producer Chases Burglar from House Naked

A music producer who has worked for Led Zeppelin and Ozzy Osbourne was woken up after being disturbed by sounds in his home.

Upon further investigation the 70-year-old found a 34-year-old thief in his home and chased him down the street naked. Prior to getting away, the thief dropped a bag which contained a number of items, such as a laptop, clothing, earrings, recording equipment, an iPhone and bank cards.

Hours later the thief was arrested by police and was jailed for four and half years at Worcester Crown Court.

After living in the village in Worcestershire for 34 years the couple are thinking of moving due to the traumatic experience.

The 70-year-old explained that he was woken up at 2 a.m. to discover that his four-bedroom home where he lives with his wife was being ransacked. When he went to discover what was going on he found all the lights on and spotted the burglar on the landing.

Prior to the burglary the couple had never locked their doors simply because the area they reside in is one where everyone knows each other. After hearing the noise the homeowner went to search the rooms where he discovered each of them had been searched through.

When he found the thief he asked him what he was doing, at which point the thief answered that he was looking. Instinct then took over and the homeowner chased after the thief realizing that he wasn’t wearing any clothes. His main thought was to catch the burglar who had intruded into his family home.

Even though he managed to get close to the thief, he was not close enough to tackle the suspect to the ground; however, it would be a few hours later that police managed to trace the suspect who had left his stolen goods back at the house.

In this day and age it just goes to show that even though you may have lived in the same area for a number of years without needing to worry about locking your windows or doors, that is no longer the case.

If presented with an opportunity, thieves will quickly act to see what they can steal before being discovered. One way for homeowners to maintain their safety at times like this is to ensure that their windows and doors are locked and to purchase a TASER gun for inside protection.
