Thieves Target Businesses and Homes in York County
According to police reports, a suspect forced their way into a business on 23rd December where they were able to make off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
On Christmas Eve, an unknown suspect entered two residences where they stole collectible model trains, coins, a television and cash. Police say that on Christmas Day, a thief broke into a home where they removed jewlery.
A second incident on Christmas Day saw a thief try to break into a business, but was unsuccessful after the alarm system went off, which may have scared them away.
In this day and age, it is important for homeowners and businesses to think about the safety measures they have in place or the lack thereof. To prevent a thief from targeting what is rightfully theirs they should make sure that they have put into place steps that will achieve this.
A good security alarm system is one way of making sure that a thief doesn’t gain access, as it will scare them away if the alarm is tripped. Not only that, but if hooked up to the police department they will instantly respond to the scene to see what is going on.
Another measure to think about, particularly for homeowners are the measures inside a home that will protect an individual from harm. These days, homeowners are becoming more concerned for their safety, which is why they are purchasing Michigan pepper spray.
This self defense spray canister is the perfect alternative to providing the protection that a person wants without the harm factor involved. Not only that, but it also means that those who are targeted won’t be harmed in the process of protecting another. Something that wouldn’t be achieved if a firearm or brute force was used instead.
It’s not everyday that a self defense device of this kind is made available, which is why it has become a popular device for people to turn to. Simply knowing that this is on hand means that homeowners and businesses can rest assured that they have the means of defending themselves should they find an intruder on their property.
