Carlisle Man Apprehended with Police TASER Gun
According to Carlisle police, the man was confronted by police at 6:10 p.m. on Monday after police received reports of a drunken man.
When police tried to speak to him he is reported to have been agitated and would not speak with police at the scene. At one point, he tried to get in the face of one of the officers. He is then reported to have pulled back his arms as though he was about to strike the officer.
As a result, he was then apprehended with a police self defense device and taken into police custody.
In this day and age, it’s not uncommon to find police with an array of self defense devices on hand that are designed to protect them when they need it the most. Not only that, but it also means that they are provided with a device that doesn’t harm those that are targeted.
Since these tools have been introduced into police departments they have shown to eliminate the harm to an officer and a suspect as the use of brute force is not required. Not only that, but those who use them will soon find that they don’t need to come into contact with an individual.
This then increases a person’s safety in such a way that would not be possible with the use of another device.
Simply knowing that police have this tool on them means that the public can rest assured that they will be protected when they need it the most. It also gives police the assurance to know that should they find themselves in a dangerous situation they can effectively defend themselves and their colleagues.
It’s no longer a case of worrying about the repercussions when a TASER gun is used, which means that those who use them for their safety can focus instead on achieving the best rests with a self defense device that has been designed to provide maximum safety to those concerned.
No one should have to worry about their safety and now they don’t with the use of this self defense weapon at their disposal.
