Police Employ Pepper Spray to Subdue Man

Officers in Rapid City employed pepper spray on an intoxicated 35-year-old man after he threatened law enforcement.

Police responded to the call of a homeowner in order to remove two males who had been drinking. While one of the men went with police the second resisted and is alleged to have struggled with police by kicking and spitting at them.

In order to apprehend the man in question and to bring the situation under control the self defense spray canister was used on the man.
