Man Who Refused to Leave Taxi is Apprehended by Police TASER
A court has been told how police employed a TASER device on a man in order to subdue him after he refused to leave a parked taxi in Boston Market Place in Lincolnshire, England.
The 21-year-old male was initially asked to get out by the taxi driver after he allegedly refused to pay his fare. When police arrived on the scene at around 1:10 a.m. on December 22 they asked the male to leave, but he is reported to have repeatedly refused and swore at them.
When he did eventually leave the taxi he remained in the area and continued to act in an aggressive manner. Police stated to the man that he was going to be arrested, which soon saw a struggle enough. As a result of his actions, police used the self defense stunning device on the man in order to subdue him and bring him into police custody without further incident.
The use of such a device now makes it possible for police to do their jobs effectively instead of having to resort to brute force that has the potential to harm those involved. In this day and age, it’s a common sight to see police with a range of self defense tools on hand. This gives them the ability to use an alternative device for their safety if and when they require it, knowing that what they are using is safe to do so.
Not only that, but because it is a non-lethal device, police and members of the public can rest assured that what they are using won’t harm the person that has been targeted. It also means that contact between a person is eliminated, thus reducing any harm that may be inflicted upon an officer or the person they are targeting.
It’s not surprising to see why so many police departments are turning their attention to TASER devices when it is clear that they produce effective results that no other device can produce without inflicting harm on the person targeted.
Without them, police would have to rely upon a limited amount of devices for their protection and the protection of others. It would also mean that they would have to resort to brute force in order to achieve their goals, which would bring about greater harm to those involved.
With the help of a self defense device that has been designed with providing maximum safety, it is now possible for police to rest assured that what they are using won’t harm anyone, but will only subdue the person long enough for them to be taken away into police custody and away from harming the public or causing a disturbance.
