Police Employ Stun Gun on Man in Courtroom
A Colebrookedale man was apprehended by a police stun gun after he plead guilty during a hearing on a harassment charge.
The incident, which took place in a Boyertown court, saw the 48-year-old man apprehended by the self defense device after he made remarks to a victim. In order to restrain him, police deemed it necessary to utilize the device on him.
The man plead guilty to harassment and then made comments to the victim. This resulted in police threatening him that they would restrain him if he continued. Police are reported to have tried to restrain him when he refused to stop, at which point the stunning tool was used on him.
In this situation, the use of a self defense police device proved very effective at bringing a suspect under control in a public court room. Stun guns are a device that many people now see on police as more police departments turn their attention to them.
Of course, it’s not just law enforcement that are turning their attention to them, but also members of the public. Results have shown how effective they are at preventing people harming others, while allowing police to rest assured that what they are using is safe to do so and won’t harm the person targeted.
It’s not everyday that such a device becomes available, but it’s not surprising to find that since it is there are many people who have turned their attention to it as a way of increasing their safety in a non-lethal way.
No one should have to worry about their safety, police or the public, and now they don’t have to with a device that has been designed with providing a person with maximum safety at the touch of a button.
If stun guns weren’t made available to the police and the public then people would still be relying upon brute force to protect themselves. However, by employing such methods they run the risk of harming those involved instead of keeping them safe.
But, with a stunning device on hand they can rest assured that what they are using will protect them, by subduing the individual in question without inflicting any harm onto them in the process.
