Police Apprehend Naked Sock Thief with Stun Gun
Police responded to the scene and found the six-foot-four suspect inside only wearing a pair of socks. According to police reports, the man refused to comply with their orders, which saw the self defense device being utilized on him. When he was taken into custody he spat at officers.
Surveillance video shows the man exiting a vehicle, removing his clothes and walking into the store completely naked as he approached a counter. The video also showed how the man then stole the socks, put them onto his feet before walking further into the store.
Why the naked sock thief had to be naked as he stole the socks is not known, but the situation certainly departed from the normal scenarios that officers find themselves in when called to a scene.
As a result, it’s necessary for police to have the right tools on hand that will allow them to deal with the different types of situations they find themselves in. Unlike the use of brute force or traditional firearms, which run the risk of harming those involved, police need to know that they can rely upon a device that is safe, but effective at what it does.
There are not many tools that achieve this in today’s society; however, there are a few, namely stun guns which do.
Simply knowing that police have these tools on hand means that they are better prepared to deal with what they face regardless of what it may be. It also means that they don’t have to worry about the potential harm that might come to a person, compared to if they were use a gun instead.
This stunning tool has been designed with providing maximum safety when needed, which means that it is the ideal alternative to other devices available. Not all situations require brute force, which is why it’s a good idea for police to know that they have a device on hand that will help them out when they require it the most.
Without the availability of such a tool, police would be limited in how to deal with a situation which could potentially seem them harming themselves and the person they are targeting as well as innocent bystanders.
With the use of stun guns that is no longer the case.
