Stun Gun Employed on Student in Columbus

Police employed a self defense stun gun on a Columbus student after it was reported that he became disruptive and was battling police.

School officials at Columbus East High School had initially contacted the 17-year-old boy’s mother; however, before she arrived police reports say that the teenager shoved an officer and reached for the officer’s firearm.

Frankford Man Arrested in Connection with Home Burglary in March

State police say that they have arrested a Frankford man after it was reported that he was involved in a home burglary in March.

The 39-year-old man in question was charged with theft, criminal mischief, burglary and possession of burglary tools after an investigation that went on for months.

Menlo Park Police Say Six Home Burglaries May be Linked

Menlo Park police are looking into six home burglaries that have recently been reported, with four of them occurring on one street.

Police believe that the burglaries are linked and are dealing with the same suspect or suspects. Four of the break-ins took place on East Creek Place, about a mile from City Hall. According to a police blotter, the victims of the burglaries are not yet aware of what has actually been stolen.

Man is Apprehended with a TASER Gun at Airport after Refusing a Screening Check

A 36-year-old man was apprehended by a TASER gun at Sacramento International Airport after he refused to complete an airport screening check and ran into a secure area.

The man in question arrived on an inbound flight at the airport, but after leaving the airport secure area he told security officials that he needed to get back inside to get his belongings. When Transportation Security Administration explained that he would have to be screened again, he became argumentative, picked up his bag and ran.

Home Burglaries Target Placer County

Rocklin officials are urging residents to remain alert after a recent rise in home burglaries was reported in the area.

From September 2011 to December 2011, officials say that 60 homes were broken into. The County of Placer, Loomis and Granite Bay, in addition to the cities of Citrus and Folsom Heights have also experienced an increase.

Teenage Girl Maintains Calm during Home Burglary

A 14-year-old girl was able to keep her cool despite the fact that two thieves had broken into her home in California. As a result of her decisive actions she called 911 which saw the burglars arrested by police.The high school freshman was home alone when she heard a stranger pound on the door. When she didn’t answer, she soon heard the door break open. At first she believed that she was hearing things and didn’t believe it at first.

The Cass County Sheriff’s office is looking into two home burglaries. During one, gun shots were fired.Deputies were called to a home at 10:30 a.m. yesterday where police found that someone had broken into the home while the resident was there.

As Prince George’s police tried to break up a fight between students after a high school basketball on Friday night, they found themselves surrounded by a large crowd. As a result, and to prevent themselves from coming to any harm, they used pepper spray to break up the crowd.
