The student who is from A&M Consolidated Middle School was taken to a juvenile detention center where he was charged with assaulting a police officer, a third-degree felony punishable by two to 10 years in prison along with a $10,000 fine.
According to police reports they received a call around 10 a.m. from the school reporting a disruptive student. Employees were forced to make the call to the police as the school resource officer was not working.
In most cases the school resource officer would be the first point of call with police only required for back-up if it was necessary.
When police arrived the student was being escorted from the building when he decided that he didn’t want to leave. The teenager then became resistant and as a result was sprayed in the face with mace spray by an officer.

When police caught up with the pair they recovered a pistol magazine with several rounds of .25-caliber ammunition, .357-caliber bullets and a watch. One stolen handgun remains unaccounted for.
The incident took place around 1:30 p.m. when a neighbor reported hearing glass shattering from a nearby yard. When he looked over he saw three men climbing into the empty residence through a broken kitchen window.
After calling police they soon arrived with the suspects fleeing. Two of them hopped over a rear fence into the next neighborhood with police behind them, while the third fled into an adjacent yard. Police set up a perimeter around the area and caught the two teenagers; however, the third suspect escaped capture.

The 25-year-old male in question was causing a disturbance at a store and was asked repeatedly to leave. According to police, even though he complied, he quickly began to make a disturbance.
Police told the man that if he didn’t leave the store he would be arrested if he returned. When he did, officers heard a loud crashing sound outside. When they went outside to investigate they noticed that the back window of the police cruiser has been smashed with a rock.
Several witnesses told police what happened and pointed out the 25-year-old male in question, who was reported to be seen running down the street. As a result, an officer chased after him. When he was ordered him to stop he refused. Due to his actions he was apprehended by the TASER device and then arrested.
The use of the self defense device in this situation enabled police to apprehend a man who was not only causing a disturbance in a store, but had smashed the window of a police cruiser with a rock.

A suicidal man who was holding a skill saw to his wrist was separated from the lethal tool when an officer shocked him with a stun gun. According to police reports, the man was taken into police custody for a mental evaluation and thanked the officer who had stopped him.
On Saturday afternoon around 2:30 p.m., police were called to the man’s house after two mental health counselors called to report that the man was threatening to kill himself with the saw. When they arrived, they found the man sitting on a couch holding the saw to his wrist.
When police ordered him to put the tool down, he refused. He told police that he wanted to speak to the FBI, to be handcuffed and to get medical help. During the time police were there he is also reported to have spoken of invasive brain scans, electrical body probes and aliens.
Officers attempted to talk to the man, in the hopes that he would put the saw down. When he took his hand off the saw briefly to take a piece of gum from police, they then attempted to get his hands away from the device by offering him a medical equipment which would allow him to check his oxygen levels.
This provided the opportune moment for police to make their move. A brief struggle ensued which saw the man grab the saw and place it back on his arm. At this point a third officer hit him with the stun gun which promptly saw him dropping it.
This situation shows how effective the use of police stun guns are when it comes to saving the lives of others. It’s not everyday that police are thanked for using them, but that doesn’t mean that the use of them is not needed.
